Okay, so I thought I would share how we have been spending most of our days while we've been here in sunny California!
The typical day:
Wake up, work out at the gym in our condos.
Make breakfast for Jeff and the kids, and send Jeff of to the office.
Ask the girls what they want to do for the day, and get the same answer every day.
"Go To The Beach!"
We pack up our stuff, and head to the beach until Paisley is ready to fall asleep standing.
Head home, and put Paisley down for her nap while we eat a late lunch, and read. (I'm such a mean mom. I make my kids read, and do a math page each day)
Jeff gets home from work, and working out, and we all head back to the beach.
Leave the beach, and go back to the condos to swim, and sit in the hot tub.
We were asked to have our picture taken for the Huntington Beach website! They thought we were a cute family. Ha Ha To bad we all look so tossed up after 6 hours of swimming, and playing in the sand! They also took some cute pictures of our girls playing, and put them in an Add for Huntington beach. It's kind of a fun keepsake of our trip!
Laying out in the sun! We are all getting so brown!
Finally crashed and burned in the warm sun! She plays so hard all day!
My girls have had so much fun catching all of the fun ocean critters! This has probably been their favorite thing to do!
Addison caught a star fish, and was thrilled that she gets to bring it home!
Some cute little boys taught the girls how to catch crabs in the rocks. The girls spend hours catching mussels, and crabs, just to let them go when its time to leave!
Paisley wants to touch everything! She loves to hold all of the sea creatures the girls catch. She is getting better at being gentle, and we've only had a few squished sand crabs.
YES! the big ones pinch!
To get to the beach from where we are it's about a 10 minute walk! We are staying in the condos at the top of this hill!
When I take the girls down to the beach without Jeff we walk! When Jeff comes with us, we usually ride our bikes!
Ellie's watching Jeff body surf! He is getting really good!
It seems like Ellie never gets out of the water. That girl stays in for hours at a time!
Jeff out swimming with the two big girls!
He's looking Hot!
The girls have become experts at catching sand crabs, they have caught at least 100!
Paisley is scared of the waves, so she stays out of the water unless we are holding her hand. This has made it so nice for me not having to worry about her in the water. Notice in the picture she is up on the beach where the water cant reach her. Its so funny to watch her run up and down the beach with each wave, so she wont get wet!
While the girls are in the water, Paisley is flirting and talking with everyone on the beach. She is such a funny little girl! She has made so many friends at the beach. People get a kick out of her being so social!
This is one of the larger sand crabs that the girls catch. Not very cute!
We have been having so much fun, and cant believe it's almost over!

Yea! I am glad to see what you guys have been up to. Looks like a ton of fun!!!
Don't worry about things around here. We have: put out a fire on your front lawn (darn fireworks), stopped a robber from crawling in your bedroom window, made a killing charging people to swim in your pool, had a raging party in your backyard on the 24th, took Jeff's "murdered out" car for a few spins (sorry about the door dings), got your mail and read all your great magazines, made 50 bucks recycling your newspapers, totally ditched our Sunday School class because the president wasn't there to get mad, told your landscapers they had the wrong address and had them cut OUR lawn, -- When are you coming home again??? ;)
Ha ha! Love what Stef said!! I am also glad you finally had some spare time to post what you guys have been up too!:) Life is good! Looks like you are having a blast!!
