SPRING SPORTS!

The girls have kicked off their spring sports, and we have had a lot of fun cheering them on! Both Ellie and Addison played Basket ball for the first time this year. Jeff and I were pleasantly surprised at how well they both play. The girls are both extremely aggressive, and quite good. Jeff was a proud papa.
Jeff was out of town for one of Ellie's games. She informed me that she liked dad at her games better then me. I asked her why, and she said its because dad tells her what to do, and I don't know anything! Ha Ha so the truth comes out of the mouth of babes.

Paisley loved to go, and watch the games while the girls played. OK it was the popcorn we bought at every game that made it so much fun!

The girls took pointers from their dad, and turned out to be good little players!

Not only did Addison play Basket ball this spring. She also started competition season for girls level 4 gymnastics. It's so fun to see all of Addie's hard work through the year pay off.
The coaches told the girls that they have three meets to qualify for summer competition. They had to get 34 points at one of the meets in order to move on. Addison kicked it out of the park, and hit over the 34 mark on the first meet. I told her if she beat her score at the next meet I would pay her $10.00. Well she is feeling pretty rich! She got close to a score of 36 which is extremely difficult. She is a born natural! I cant wait to see her this summer.

This girl loves everyone watching her!

Addison getting ready to dismount off the beam.

Getting ready for her last Vault. Good Job Addie!!!
Now that Basket ball is over, the girls are starting spring indoor soccer. Addison will have to work around Gymnastics with the games, but both girls are excited to play. I'm starting to understand the whole living through your children think. I guess it's great for all, as long as the kids are having fun!

ADDIE'S 7th BIRTHDAY!

Addie turned 7 years old January 29Th.
She had some fun filled days to celebrate.
Addie got a pink motor scooter, and a new outfit from Jeff, and I. Jeff went out of town on her B-day so we all went as a family, early to dinner to start the celebration.

Addie's Birthday landed on a Friday this year, and she lucked out and had no school that day. I took two of her friends, and Ellie Ice-skating for her party.

It was Addison and Kennedi's first time! They all had such a fun time!

Ice-Skating with my Birthday Girl!

We had pizza, and Cake at the Ice-skating rink.

Presents!!

That night we met some of the family at Golden Corral for dinner, and more parting!

Addie and her Grandma Gardner.

Addison brought donuts, and juice box's for her class to share for her birthday. Addison's teacher had everyone in her class stand up and say something they liked about Addie. She then had me stand and tell something about her. It was so dang cute! I love this little girl so much. She is such a fun little spirit. So full of life, ready to make everyone around her laugh. She is so determined, and spunky! Addison is such a smarty pants. This girl is naturally good at everything she had tried. We are so lucky to have her in our family!
We love you Addie!

BYE BYE COLD WEATHER!

January 3rd we went on the Western Caribbean Cruise, for 7 days of fun in the sun. Thanks to Jamie my Sister- in- law, and her totally awesome husband, who planned the whole trip as a 30th B-day surprise for her!

We all waited for Jamie at the Airport for her to arrive. She was totally surprised, and such a good sport about everything. Ryan invited 12 couples total, of Jamie's friend, and family for the adventure.

The Birthday girl!

We all had so much fun! There was never a dull moment, with all of the fun things we were able to experience.

All the Gardner's who came on the trip.
We went on an excursion in Belize, that took us through the top of the Jungle on zip lines. We then rode the river on tubes through a 1 1/2 mile cave.
Amazing!

Our day at Costa Maya was so dang fun, and relaxing. We went into town, and rented a boat to take us snorkeling. The highlight of snorkeling was the man sized Sting ray, and all the colors we saw. After we finished snorkeling, we went to a beautiful beach, and each got a 1 hour massage for $20.00. You cant beat that! We ate shrimp tacos, shopped, and soaked up the sun. My kind of day!

Snorkeling time!

Jeff, and some of the guys entered the Basketball shooting contest!

Our ship was Huge! We were on the Oasis, second largest cruise ship in the world.
It had a Basketball court, shopping mall, ice-skating ring, miniature golfing, rock climbing wall, surfing flow rider, multiple pools, and hot tubs, huge gym, boxing ring, and so much more.

This is how it looked, when you walked down the mall.

Hanging out with the family!

We went Hot tubing with the crew several times a day!

Getting all strapped up for the zip line!

Our whole group (excluding Tim and Jodi) on the first formal night! Tim got the flu, and turned in early.

I love this guy!

Our boat is the one on the right. It was that BIG!

A few of us rented Scooters in Cozumel, and road around the island hitting the most beautiful beach. Jeff's parents rented a dune buggy, which was a good call for them, and the Keller's.

While we were relaxing on the beach. Scott Keller went up to one of the fishermen who was coming in from fishing for Lobster, and offered to buy 12 Lobsters for our lunch. He then went to the restaurant, and had them prepare, and lay out a delicious lunch of us.
That's how he rolls!
The Lobsters were the biggest I have ever seen. He paid $10.00 a piece, for them. This was after being cooked, and served with bread, rice, and salad. Yummy!

OK so the best part of the trip was Bingo!! Jeff and I went to play Bingo the last day of the trip, when we were out to Sea. Everyone was teasing us about playing, even after I begged all of them to come, because I was feeling lucky. Your looking at the progressive JACKPOT Bingo winner.
Jeff won the whole thing!
Yeah!!!!!! Mamas buying a new pair of shoes!

No one believed that we won, until Jeff pulled out the big bills! $4000.00 dollars baby!

Our good friends the Cloyd's.

We had such a great time hanging out with all of Ryan, and Jamie's friends. Thank you Ryan, and Jamie for bringing us along.
